NOTICE OF A PUBLIC MEETING A public meeting to receive input on the following planning applications will be held on: COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE (PUBLIC HEARING) September 2, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. at VAUGHAN CITY HALL, COUNCIL CHAMBER 2141 MAJOR MACKENZIE DRIVE, VAUGHAN, ONTARIO, L6A 1T1 PROPERTY: South side of Teston Road, west side of Pine Valley Drive, City of Vaughan (Attachments #1 and #2 - Ward 3). APPLICATION: 1) To amend the City’s Zoning By-law 1-88 (File Z.03.107) to rezone the subject lands from A Agricultural Zone to RD1 Residential Detached Zone One, RD2 Residential Detached Zone Two, RD3 Residential Detached Zone Three, RT1 Residential Townhouse Zone, OS1 Open Space Conservation Zone and OS2 Open Space Park Zone to permit detached and street townhouse dwelling units, elementary school, parks and a stormwater management pond facility, and maintain valleylands/ open space lands, together with the necessary site-specific zoning exceptions, in the manner shown on Attachment #3. 2) To consider a Draft Plan of Subdivision Application (File 19T- 03V25) to facilitate a development that includes the creation of lots for 418 residential units (includes 374 detached dwelling units and 44 street townhouse dwelling units), elementary school, parks and a stormwater management pond facility, and maintain valleylands/open space lands on 52.38 ha, in the manner shown on Attachment #4. The proposed subdivision is located within the Block 40/47 Plan, which is shown on Attachment #5. NOTE Zoning By-law (O. Reg. 545/06) If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the City of Vaughan before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the City of Vaughan to the Ontario Municipal Board. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the City of Vaughan before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board, there are reasonable grounds to do so. If you wish to be notified of the passing of a Zoning By-law, you must make a written request to the City of Vaughan, City Clerk’s Office, 2141 Major Mackenzie Drive, Vaughan, Ontario L6A 1T1.
