Hard copy of the bid must be submitted in sealed cover superscribed “Tender for Running of Tiffin Room”. 5. Validity of Contract is for one year from the date of Acceptance of Contract/Renewal. This can however be extended

for another period of two years at the same rate, if the yearly performance of the Contractor is found satisfactory and at the discretion of Director, All India Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Mumbai – 400 034.

6. Complete set of Bid documents has been made available at www.aiipmr.gov.in for downloading. The cost of the tender enquiry document is INR `.500/- which is payable in the form of Demand Draft drawn on a scheduled bank in India in favour of “Pay & Account Officer, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Mumbai-08”. The bidder may download the tender enquiry documents from the website. For submission and other details please refer to www.aiipmr.gov.in.

7. The bidders shall ensure that their bids, complete in all respect and desired hard copies in original are dropped in the tender box located at Establishment section, Room No.201, 2nd floor, Block ‘B”, AIIPMR, on or before the closing date and time (29/06/2020 at 11.30 am), failing which the bids will be treated as late and rejected.

8. In the event of any of the above mentioned date being declared as a holiday / closed day for the Institute, the bids will be received / opened on the next working day at the appointed time. The Institute will be entitled to keep on waiting list persons other than the contractor, who

are prepared to accept the contract on the same terms and conditions as the person accepting

the contract. The earnest money of such persons will be initially refunded except for a token

amount of `.500/- (`.Five Hundred Only) which would be retained by the Institute so long as they want to be retained on the waiting list.

The A.I.I.P.M.R, Mumbai – 34 will provide space for running of tiffin room as well as

furniture, electrical fixtures, fans refrigerators, water cooler, water purifier free of charge to

the contractor. No charge will be levied on electricity or water consumed for running Tiffin

Room.

furniture and utensils on as is where is basis and the contractor has to maintain and keep an

account of the same. This will have to be returned on expiry of the contract in good condition.

Caterer on every working day and supplying of Breakfast, Tea, Lunch and Dinner to ward

patients and students staying at hostel on Sundays and Holidays in accordance with the laid

down specifications. It may, however be noted that the quantities as indicated are only

approximate and are subject to change. The Caterer may also supply additional items of

foodstuffs/ drinks etc. with prior permission at the rates to be mutually agreed upon.

Institute if required at his own cost. The Caterer is required to engage workers and maintain

standard of food items and also maintain the standard of hygene and other requirements of

the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. Under no circumstances, the total number of

employees would exceed fifteen.

The Tiffin Room, foodstuffs and materials in the custody of the Contractor can be opened

anytime for inspection by the Institute authorities. If items are found to be stale and or

unwholesome it shall be immediately discarded. Penalty as decided by authorities can also

be levied, if the contracter is found guilty.
