2. Mode of deposition of Earnest Money

: Earnest money to be paid in favour of the Executive Engineer, 24 Parganas Division I , M.E.Dte.in the form of Bank Draft/ Pay Order drawn on any scheduled Bank in Barasat and must accompany the tender, without which the tender will be summarily rejected.

3. Eligibility to purchase tenders : The intending tenderers, Govt. enlisted or bonafied outsiders or working contractors under this Directorate who have successfully completed similar nature of work to the tune of 50% of the tendered amount in a single contract within the last 5(five) financial years and also having up-to-date clearance certificates of I.T, P. T. and S.T. etc. The working contractors whose performances are not satisfactory will not be allowed to participate in this tender.

4. Printed form in which tender is to be submitted

West Bengal Form No. 2911 (ii) including up-to-date Corrigenda and addenda as per order of Government.

5. Price per set of tender documents Tender documents can be obtained on cash payment of non-refundable fee Rs.755/-for each Group of as per Annexure –I (Sl. No. 1 – 93) mentioned above from the Office of the Executive Engineer,24 Parganas Division I , M.E.Dte.

6. Last date & time for receipt of application.

13.04.2012 upto 3.00 PM. Application seeking permission for purchasing tender documents should be accompanied by the attested photocopies of all credentials, e. g., work order, payment certificate, and completion tender documents. Certificate and valid documents alongwith the attested photocopies of PAN card, up-to-date clearance certificates for I. T., P. T. and S. T. and certificate for VAT registration, if any. In absence of any of these documents, the application will not be considered for permission. Attestation of all above documents shall have to done from a notary.

10. Mode of issue of tender Tender papers

Tender papers will be issued from the Office of the Executive Engineer,24 Parganas Division I , M.E.Dte. One applicant will be allowed to participate for maximum 5(five) groups of work.

11. Mode of payment of completed works

Payment of completed work/works will be made from State Urban Development Agency, on the value of work done recommended by the executive Engineer, 24 Parganas Division I , M.E.Dte.

It is obligatory under IE rules that all electrical installation works shall be executed under qualified electrical supervisor holding electrical supervisor certificate of competency granted by the state licensing board. The tenderers are bound to furnish following details with quotation paper.

If the Office of the Executive Engineer,24 Parganas division I , M.E.Dte, 7, K.B. Bose Rd. (2nd floor) Barasat ,North 24-Pgs Kolkata-700 124, happens to be closed on the date of receiving and opening tenders, these will be received and opened on the next working day at the time and venue as mentioned above without any further notice. Tenders in sealed cover containing all the documents must be superscribed with the name of the work/s, Group No. and tender notice no. Tenders will be opened in presence of the participants or their authorized representatives who will intend to be present at the time of opening. Building and other construction workers welfare cess @ 1 % will be deducted from each bill. (Reference: FD Memo No. 6895 – F. Dated 11-9-2006) Tender submitted in any form other than the tender documents issued in favour of the tenderers is liable to be rejected. Tender documents with missing pages of scheduled items will be disqualified and it will be the tenderers’ responsibility to point out the shortcoming in the documents, if any, which will have to be furnished well before the date of submission for needful action by the Office of the Executive Engineer,24 Parganas division I , M.E.Dte, 7, K.B.
