Request for proposal for furnishing rates for supply of plumbing/bathroom

fittings items of Jaquar or equivalent reputed brand from the dealers/ suppliers

and also for rates discovery for future supply.

2. Quoting of Rates: The rates quoted to be inclusive of all taxes, cess,

octroi, transportation charges, GST etc. Tax component should be mentioned

separately, as per format of price bid.

3. Purchase period and quantity: Above purchase may be done within period

of 03 months and quantity may vary. Further, bank will have the option to

purchase all the items or any particular item/s.

4. Completion Time: 30 days from the date of issue of work order.

5. Eligibility of bidders: All dealers/ suppliers of Jaquar brand or other

equivalent brand of national repute.

6. Tender document downloadable from our website: 05/12/2017 to

12/12/2017.

7. Date of submission of offer/ bid: 12.12.2017 by 3.00 pm

8. Date & time of opening of tender: 12.12.2017 at 3.30 pm

9. The tenders duly filled in shall be kept in a cover superscribed with the

name of the work and to be dropped in the tender box kept at the office of:

10. Rates quoted may be valid upto (in case of change in price list/ MRP,

proportionate discount will be applicable): 31.12.2018 or any other such period

mentioned in the price bid. On the basis of rates discovered in this tender

process, further purchase, limiting to 25% of the total present value on any one

instance, may be done.

14. It is to be noted that the maximum possible discount over the MRP given

in rate-list/ catalogue of Jaquar, in respect of other items, if we purchase, as per

our requirement, for further specific period viz. 06 months or 12 months to be

given.

15. This is just a request for rates and may not be construed any commitment

or compulsion for purchase.

16. Quotations/ bid/ offers should only be submitted in closed envelops,

mention subject/name of the purchase, on the envelop.

17. As our requirement is mainly for maintenance/replacement, products

offered should strictly be equivalent to Jaquar, in terms of product's

specifications, internal & external design, technology, testing criteria etc. In

case of product offered is from other manufacturer, company should be of

national repute, having minimum establishment of 5 years and minimum annual

turnover of 20 crores in last 5 financial years each, as on 31.03.2017. Bid

received without necessary papers/supporting documents, regarding the fact that

product offered is equivalent to Jaquar, will not be considered.

18. In case of tender opening date falls on holiday, tender will be opened on

next working day.

19. Bidder must be having valid GST number.

20. The price bid must be filled in English and all entries must be made by

hand and written in legible ink or typed.

21. The quantities indicated are only probable quantities and are liable to

alteration by omission, reduction or addition. Payment shall be made on the

basis of actual quantities of supply at the accepted rates.

22. The tenderer shall also bear all expenses in connection with the

preparation and submission of this tender.

23. On all the products, warrantee shall be applicable at per terms &

conditions of manufacturing company.

24. The Bank does not bind itself to accept the lowest tender and reserves the

right to reject any or all the tenders received without assigning any reasons

thereof. Further, the bank reserves the right to award any portion of the work to

different tenderers or to award the entire work to one tenderer.

25. Price bid must be signed by an authorized person.

26. The bidder must quote the rates and amount in the Bill of Quantities

27. However, if errors are made, the wrong figures or words must be neatly

scored out under full signature of the tenderer and the correct figures and neatly

rewritten. Over writing is not permitted.

28. Errors in the Bill of Quantities (BOQ), rates and amount shall be dealt

with in the following manner:

-In the event of a discrepancy between the rates quoted in words and the rates

in figures, the amount mentioned in words shall prevail.

-In the event of an error occurring in the amount columns as a result of

wrong multiplication and extension of unit rate and quantities, the unit shall be

regarded as firm and the amount shall be amended accordingly.
