NOTICE INVITING TENDER NO. 002/2/JBMFPL/FS OF 2011-2012

FOR INSTALLATION OF 5 NOS FACTORY SHEDS

Jangipur Bengal Mega Food Park Ltd invites sealed item rate quotations from reputed &experienced contractors for the “Installation of 5 Nos. Factory Shed” for “The Mega Food Park

Project” at Raghunathganj 1 block, Jangipur Subdivision, Murshidabad district”.

• The eligibility of prospective bidders for the purpose of issue of tender document will be

decided either through valid registration in appropriate class with CPWD, State PWD,

Railways, BARC, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) etc. and / or having experience

certificates regarding successful completion of at least one similar work for equivalent tender

value executed during last 3 (three) years

• The bidders not having experience of executing similar work will not be issued tender

documents. In addition the following may also be produced (i) Bank Solvency Certificate for

an amount of 20% of estimated work (ii) audited statement of account for last three years

(iii) Service Tax Registration and (iv) Annual turnover of Rs 1,000 lakhs for last 3 years for

consideration of issue of tender document

a) Description : Installation of 5 Nos. FactorySheds admeasuring 7500 sq. mt.Work package consist of -(i).Required Civil Work.(ii).Pre Engineered Building for thesheds

b) Estimated cost of the contract : Rs. 3,21,30,000/-(Rupees Three Crore Twenty OneLakhs and Thirty Thousand only)

Civil Work Rs. 1,30,000/-(Rupees One Lakh ThirtyThousand only)

Pre Engineered Buildings Rs. 3,20,00,000/-(Rupees Three Crore and TwentyLakhs only)

Total Rs. 3,21,30,000/-(Rupees Three Crore Twenty OneLakhs and Thirty Thousand only)



NB:Separate application for Civil or PEB or Machinery is also acceptable

In such case EMD will be 2% of the cost of Individual work

c) Time of completion :

h) Cost of Tender Paper : Rs. 5,000/-(Rupees Five Thousand only)

k) Date and time of dropping of Tender : 06-05-2011 upto 1630 hrs

l) Date & Time of Opening of Tender : 06-05-2011 at 1730 hrs inpresence of contractor or theirauthorized representatives

m) Minimum Turn over in any year during last fiveyears.

o) JBMFPL reserves the right not to issue tender documents to any agency under thefollowing circumstances.

a. Non-compliance with conditions mentioned in the tender documentsb. Litigation and court cases

The request for issue of Tender document along with proof of eligibility criteria and documentsmentioned above should be addressed to Chief Executive Officer, Jangipur Bengal Mega FoodPark Ltd, DB 67, Sector I, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700 064 along with payment of Rs.5000/-(Rupees Five Thousand only) by D.D in favour of Jangipur Bengal Mega Food Park Ltd,Kolkata. The tender without earnest money deposited will be considered as rejected.

The dates of various activities will be strictly adhered to. In case the last date of sale and/orreceipt and opening of tender is declared as Holiday, the respective dates shall be treated aspostponed to the next working days, correspondingly.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. PAN number along with TAN/TIN number should be mentioned clearly, otherwisequotation will be rejected.

2. Service Tax Registration Certificate should be submitted along with tender documents,otherwise quotation will be rejected.

3. Solvency Certificate should be submitted along with tender documents, otherwisequotation will be rejected.

4. Earnest Money Deposit should be submitted along with tender documents, otherwisequotation will be rejected.

5. Rate should be quoted exclusive of all applicable taxes and applicable taxes will bededucted at source against which necessary tax deduction certificates will be issued asand when required.

6. The said work is to be done to the full satisfaction of the Officer In-charge & Engineer In-charge.

7. All tools and plants are to be supplied by the contractor himself.

8. No extra payment for carrying of materials will be allowed from the Organization.

9. All work must be completed within three months unless otherwise stated.

10. Security deposit/Bank guarantee will be released after 6 months from the date ofcompletion of the entire work for the successful bidders.

11. The EMD for unsuccessful bidders will be returned within 7days of opening of tender.The EMD for the L2 and L3 Bidders will be returned after issue of the work order of thesame work.

12. The contractor will be allowed to make temporary shed at the worksite for storing goodsat their own risk and cost and will have to be cleaned within 7 days of completion ofwork.

13. Water and power for the execution of said work will be provided by JBMFPL at the site atone point only and the actual cost of water and power consumed for the said work will beborne . The rates are firmed and no extra claim will be adhered till completion of thework for any items or total contract.

14. The safety measures to be arranged by the contractor during working at site as directedby the engineer in charge which deemed to be included in the item rates.



15. The successful bidder should undertake required insurance cover of workers and labourbefore starting any work. JBMFPL will not be responsible for any claims arising out ofany accident taking place on site during the execution of said work.

16. The Chief Executive Officer, Jangipur Bengal Mega Food Park Ltd reserves the right toreject any tender or accept any one if considered advantageous to the Organization

without giving any reason.

17. Any dispute what so ever, will be under the jurisdiction of Kolkata High Court, Kolkata.

18. The selected party should be signed in agreement- F-2 Form before issue of final workorder.
