HYMER BIKE CARRIER

With the HYMER Bike Carrier you can easily and efficiently secure up to 2 bicycles or E-bikes in the rear garage. The main element is the vertical support pole for the bicycle holding bracket, which is permanently installed inside the vehicle. The support pole can be individually adapted to your rear garage in just a few simple steps, making the actual loading process a breeze. The bicycles are first pushed into the front wheel clamping brackets, at which point they will already be able to stand unsupported. This makes it easier to fasten them using the holding bracket, meaning the bikes can be easily and securely fixed in place before departure. If required, the system can be expanded by one bicycle at a time – up to a maximum of four bicycles.

HYMER Smart Battery System

EVEN GREATER AUTONOMY WHEN TRAVELLING

Operating principle: The HY-Tec lithium battery 135 consists of six individual LE300 lithium extension battery modules, which increase the

capacity and performance of the lead batteries while increasing the efficiency and service life of the overall system. The lithium batteries

perform the majority of the charging cycles, while the lead batteries function as backup storage devices. The system ensures that the lead

batteries are always charged first (1. Preferential charging of the lead battery). Any excess energy is then stored by the lithium batteries

(2. Charging of the lithium battery). Conversely, when power is consumed, the lithium batteries are discharged first, which significantly in-

creases the lifespan of the lead batteries (3. Preferential discharging of the lithium battery). The integrated discharge management ensures

that the on-board power supply system is preferentially powered by the cycle-proof lithium batteries. With increased power consumption, the

lead batteries are switched on to reduce the demands on both batteries (4. Discharging of the lead battery).

Exclusive product: Perfectly adapted for HYMER vehicles.

Increased battery life: From approx. 3 years to approx. 10 years.

Weight savings: The 6-block offers a 5 kg weight saving with almost

three times the usable capacity of a conventional second AGM 95 Ah

living area battery. The 2-block brings a weight saving of around

20 kg, whereby the external dimensions of the LI battery are around

1/3 of the size of an AGM battery and provide the same usable ca-

pacity as 2 x AGM battery 95 AH.

Completely winter-proof system: With excellent advantages, es-

pecially when exposed to sub-zero temperatures as the LI battery

accepts charge from the very first second, while at the same time the

integrated heater warms the HY-Tec LI battery to a temperature of

10°C to enable fast charging.

ALL THE ADVANTAGES AT A GLANCE

Improved safety: The HY-Tec battery is a lithium iron phosphate bat-

tery (LiFePO4). This means that overheating or combustion are not

possible!

Improved economy: A relatively inexpensive introduction to the world

of LI batteries as the existing AGM battery can continue to be used.

Certified quality: The HY-Tec LI battery is ECE-approved has been

tested by the TÜV for temperature fluctuations and vibrations.

ANTI-BURGLARY DEVICES

“CRIME PREVENTION” ALARM SYSTEM

Thanks to the completely new anti-burglary system/alarm system, you can feel completely safe when you go to sleep. The sensor detects people loitering within one metre of the entrance door. If the person stands still for longer than two seconds the LED light will start to flash – for a period of approx. ten seconds. If the person has not left the area in front of the door by this time, an alarm will sound inside the vehicle to warn the occupants. The person outside the vehicle will also hear the alarm. The alarm will not disturb your neighbours, however, as it is only loud enough to be heard within a two-metre radius around the vehicle. The LED serves to alert potential burglars to the fact that they have been noticed, while the subsequent alarm is designed to encourage them to desist. This alarm system has been developed to minimise the likelihood of a break-in and, in an emergency, to wake the occupants so that they can draw attention to themselves. The system is discreetly installed in the interior and can be switched on and off via the original HYMER switch.

ERIBA CANOPY


With a depth of 300 cm, the ERIBA Touring sun canopy offers more shade and, when used with the side and front walls, it also generates more living space by comparison with other similar awnings or canopies. The shape of the roof creates a pleasant feeling of space and enables water to run off perfectly. The canopy is attached by inserting it into the original awning rails and the IXL fi-breglass poles (with a stable central crossover) are fixed using the original ERIBA awning eyelets. A very stable and visually pleasing attachment to the ERIBA Touring. Optionally available: matching front and side walls that can be retracted using zip fasteners.
