This means that with internal activity allocations, even when they occurduring a confirmation, the relevant cost centers are credited only with the variable portion of the activity prices of the activity type. The fixed portion of the activity price for the activity type remains on the cost centers, and can be passed to Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) at the period end through assessment. The variable sales production costs are passed to CO-PA via a billing document. You can pass the variances between the standard production costs and the actual production costs from Cost Object Controlling to CO-PA at the period end.
