Executive Committee Reportso President: Martha Michalak – Concessions Issue: Oakland County Inspector needs our

concessions to have a Food Safety/Safe Certified contact person. Patty Ebach is working on a job description to have a person hold a paid position for the concessions. Rick Frost holds a current certificate and will email Martha with his information.Fred Pumper suggested that if the concessions position is paid, the percentage for athletic teams running concessions would be less.

Vice President: Dawn Deak – Nothing to report. Secretary: Kim Dunn – Nothing to report. Treasurer: Fred Pumper – $71,469.33 balance. $39,000 from sports pass revenue. $3,600 from

spirit wear. Waiting for all football concessions to be turned in.-CPA Michael Burman is overseeing old tax files and penalties accrued for not filing in the past. --He is currently working on lowering the $35,000 penalty assessed.-No further letters received and no further update at this time.

o Request #7 – Girls’ and Boys’ Bowling (offset cost of program, lane fees, tournament fees) Coach Elizabeth Bacigal spoke and is the new bowling coach. Sport is for both boys and

Coach Kyle Moir spoke that there are better races in Northern Michigan (Boyne). Skiing is self funded at parents pay $1,000 before practice has even started.Total Cost: $8,200 Request: $2,800Motion: Lori Moos Second: Nicole Lane

Sport Passes/Corral Club: Maria Lindow/Andrea Couture (Martha gave update).o Sport passes still available.

Concessions: Patty Ebach (Martha gave update).o Closed for the season. Prepping now for indoor concessions.

Fundraising: Martha Michalak-Kris Yanagi has moved and now asking for assistance from all Athletic Booster members to help the night of the fundraiser.

o Harlem Wizards promotional video was shown and will be shown at lower ed schools.o Talked at length about the Harlem Wizards (basketball wizardry) and the fundraiser at

NHS on November 27, 2018. Boosters have the potential to make $11,000 in ticket sales. Boosters would need sponsorships and volunteers!

o Thirty sports teams-possibly sell at least 10 tickets and 1 sponsorship per team.o Would need to get a big committee of volunteers to make it possible.o Martha has sent out a signup genius for volunteers.o Ticket sales began October 10th. $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Tickets were sold

at middle school conferences and will need to be sold at elementary school conferences. Please sign up when signup genius is emailed. Everyone needs a ticket to enter.

o Home Basketball team is solidified and made up of principals, teachers and coaches.o National Honor Society students will help volunteer as well.

ACTION: We need our athletic representatives to get the word out to their teams and “Like” facebook Page of Harlem Wizards vs Mustang Madness Basketball.

ACTION: If you know of any more sponsors, contact Martha. Sign up to hand out flyers when the sign up genius comes out.

ACTION: Andrea Couture will coordinate Pom Pon, Dawn Deak will coordinate with choir/middle school teachers, Patty Ebach will run concessions and Fred Pumper will be in charge of 50/50.

o Scholarship: Nicole Lane – nothing to report.

o Spirit Wear: Cynthia Straky/Danielle Lutteke (Martha gave update).o On line orders will be in in time for the holidays.

o Fall Sports: Varsity Football 3-6. Volleyball 44-6-1. Conference & District Champions. Regionals Tuesday @ 6:30pm

@ Skyline. Boys Soccer Finished in Districts 2nd Round. Lost in OT to Novi. Boys Tennis Conference/Regionals; 4th in State. Girls Golf State Champions! Boys CC Placed 15th in State. Nick Couyouijian 4th in State Girls CC Won Conference/Regional. Place 8th in State Girls Swim Won the KLAA Conference. States November 16 & 17

o ACTION: Alpine Skiing holding poinsettia sale November 1-15. Three leaf $25, wreath $35-combination is $60

o ACTION: Wrestling-join the team November 15 at Tony Sacco’s in Novi/25% of food and drink will go towards wresting.

o ACTION: NCAA Presentation tonight at 7pm in the forum.
