FEATURE STORY
by: Joan Firnhaber
“Autumn is a second spring where every leaf is a flower.”
Albert Camus
As I look out my window, Northland Center trees are nearing their peak
colors. Fall plantings have been installed on site to keep the festive autumnal feel even
after the leaves drop. At Northland Center Property Management office we continue
to seek ways to make this property the best!
We will host a Plaza Grand Reopening party on Tuesday October 25th from
1:00 – 3:00. The newly renovated plaza will feature a deck area with upholstered
outdoor seating as well as tables with umbrellas. Wood accents have been added and
new trees and plants installed. Please stop by and pick up a quick treat to help us
celebrate the completion of this major renovation project.
The Team and Excellence conference room audio video equipment update is
also completed. Other items completed this summer include increased speed on both
the Wi Fi and conference room internet connections. Also, a cell phone booster
system has been installed on the concourse that supports all phone carriers.
Northland Center understands how important connectivity is to doing business today
and continues to make updates to ensure that our tenants can remain connected.
Northland Center is working on a few new technology items as well. Look for a new
app that will allow tenants to activate HVAC after hours. Also, we are working on an
emergency notification system that can be used to communicate with Northland
Center tenants via text messaging. Look for both of these to launch later this year or
early in 2017.
Finally, with the change in seasons, Northland Center would like to extend
special thanks to Untiedt’s Farm and to all those who participated in our Farmer’s
market and CSA program! It is such a treat to have farm fresh produce brought to
Northland Center. This program continues to grow thanks to the support of the
Northland Center tenants. We look forward to working with Untiedt’s again next
spring!
