Says it’s Trump spewing the hateEditor: Re: “Hillary the hateful” (Sept. 15 Chronicle). Crooked Hillary, lyin’ Ted, little Marco, ugly Carly, murderers and rapists, etc., etc., ad nauseam. Trump has set a tone that resonates with some people who share his divisive, deroga-tory, accusatory, doomsday views presenting himself as their savior. I don’t agree with the way Clinton said it, but I do agree that some of Trump’s followers share his deplorable views and feel emboldened to express them because he encourages them and will pay their legal fees if they punch someone. Trump wants their vote. “Hillary the hateful,” Mark? Kind of ironic.
