Pastor’s Pen I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled I am to have Pastor Larry Askew join our staff as Associate Pastor. MARCH 15 - 18, 20157:00 PM NIGHTLY

Life can get blurry. Circumstances and choices can cloud our view from the truth. We have set aside four days this month, March 15-18, to “Focus” on our personal relationship with the Lord. As we digest the word “Focus,” we are challenged to pay attention to specific areas in our lives that God wants to change. I pray that we are able to be obedient as the Lord pinpoints what needs to be removed or restored.

Ready Set Go! I hope that all of you are ready for an exciting month. March 1st opens the registration for WinShape Camp, which will be held in Hamilton Mill this year. The registration is $50,which is non-refundable. The total cost is $199. We had an amazing time last year and I hope that many of your children will attend this year. I will be attending every day.

Revival will be a great opportunity for your family to grow spiritually. Please see the enclosed info for the weeks events. Wednesday night will be Children/Student Night. All children have been given tickets to share with their friends inviting them to this great night. We are in a competition with the youth for who can have the highest attendance! We will serve pizza in the fellowship hall @6:00 p.m. to every child (ages 3 to 5th grade) who attends. JOURNEY OFF THE MAP will be the theme for the night! There will also be a drawing for a grand prize!

We will have 10,000 eggs dropped from a helicopter at our Egg Drop Extravaganza on Saturday, March 28, from 10-12. Bring your basket and enjoy a morning of fun and fellowship. We will also have our Annual Chicken Run. (Rain-out date will be April 4 at the same time)

On Sunday, March 29, the Crazy Praise Kidz will sing in the morning worship at 11:00. They will join the adult choir. I know you will not want to miss it!

“Lord, send a revival, and let it begin in me” are the words of an old gospel hymn by B.B. McKinney that I have been singing for the past few weeks. “Focus” is the theme for this year’s revival. Focus is exactly what we need to do.

Hebrews 12:2 tells us to look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. If we can truly focus our eyes on Jesus, then revival is what we will see.

Don’t miss Student Night on Wednesday, March 18. We will eat pizza at 6:00 p.m. in the student area followed by an incredible testimony from UGA defensive tackle, Lucas Redd. We have tickets for every student to pass out. I challenge all students to invite as many friends as you can to attend this life-changing event!

For HIS Glory!Coach Cook706-224-3990

Last month we emphasized that love means nothing unless we put it into action. Jesus loves us so much He sacrificed everything—including His very life—on the cross. Then He rose again to give us new life.

That glorious Easter message is the best news we can share with our kids—and the world around us. God did something incomprehensible because of His unfailing love. His resurrection opens the door to Heaven. Serving HIM, Mrs. Becky
