Lot Adornment & Memorial Regulations*The City has provided ways for families to honour their loved ones with a variety of ornamentation and memorial options. ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:
• Fresh flowers• Artificial flowers in a City installed in-
ground vase• City installed gardens as regulated• Small, potted plant on memorial marker• Memorials that conform to current
regulations
UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS:• Objects made of glass or ceramic• Wooden or metal objects• Rocks or gravel• Fencing or railing• Hedging• Netting• Candles, lanterns and solar lamps• Food items• Any object placed on the ground• Planting or digging anything into the
ground
The City is not responsible for the maintenance or preservation of any lot adornment. Items deemed unacceptable may be removed by staff. Any or all items may be removed for regular maintenance or Cemetery operations.

HOW TO GET THEREHighway 1 Westbound Exit 22A: Turn left at the first intersection and proceed to the top of the hill on Lillooet Road.Highway 1 Westbound Exit 22B: Proceed through the first intersection in the centre lanes and continue to the top of the hill on Lillooet Road. Highway 1 Eastbound: Exit 22 (Mt. Seymour Parkway): Follow the signs towards Lillooet Road/Capilano University. Proceed through the first intersection in the centre lanes and continue to the top of the hill on Lillooet Road.
HOURS OF OPERATIONSeptember 7th – April 7th: 8am - 4pmApril 8th – September 6th: 8am - 8pm
A caretaker is onsite daily from 8am - 4pm excluding statutory holidays.

Since 1907, the North Vancouver Cemetery has served residents of the North Shore Nestled below the majestic North Shore mountains, the Cemetery is a special place of remembrance, history and beauty. It is a treasured space where people take time to reflect and reconnect with nature.
The Cemetery is approximately 22 acres in size and lies on a 62-acre parcel of land located at the north end of Lillooet Road.
Interment options at the Cemetery include colombaria niches, in-ground cremation space and in-ground burial space.
