Dear Leaders and Volunteers,
Thank you so much for giving your time to help the kids have a great Day Camp.
We are excited about making this a fun and productive camp. Below are camp guidelines we
need you to be familiar with to help us all to work as a team. Our camp is May 29-31 at
Birch Hill Recreation Area and June 1, Family Day at Chena Lakes Recreation Area.
Leaders, please be early to greet your boys as they get to camp. Each Pack receives 2 free
shirts for leaders at camp. Volunteers receive a free shirt as a thank you. Additional shirts are
$15 dollars each. Applications are due March 29, 2019. Late applicants are not guaranteed a
shirt. Leaders, please register as a Pack.
We encourage you to find day care for your younger children. If this is not possible please
Include them on your pack form and include BSA Health form for each child. We are charging a
fee also to offset the cost of supplies. Please be aware that Day Camp is a Cub Scout activity and
some Tag-a-long children may not have the abilities to participate in some stations as they are
created for scouts 5-11 years old. Tag-a-longs (1-4 years) must stay with parent or guardian.
Thank you so much, once again, for your time.

Dear Scouting Family,
We are excited to announce plans for this year’s Cub Scout Day Camp. Our camp is May 29-
31 at Birch Hill Recreation Area and June 1, Family Day, at Chena Lakes Recreation Area,
Lake Park, near the playground. We will meet at 10:00am. Our activities and lunch will be until 1:00pm. We
will then close Camp. Feel free to continue your family fun at the lake afterwards.
The fee for cubs and children 5-11 is the same as last year ($75.00) due March 29th. The early Applica-
tion date allows more time for ordering T-Shirts, patches and supplies. And for the Staff to plan for special
needs.
If Parents are attending we encourage you to find day care for you younger children. If this is not possi-
ble, please include them on your Pack registration. The Tag-a-long (1-4 years old) fee is $25 dollars and the op-
tional t-shirt is an additional $15.00. Tag-a-longs must stay with their parent at all times. Please be aware that
Day Camp is a Cub Scout activity and some Tag-a-longs may not have the abilities to participate in some sta-
tions as they are created for cub scouts 5-11 years old.
We are always in need of more helpers for camp. If you can spare some time and can volunteer for the
kids please inform your pack leaders. If you know anyone who might be willing to volunteer at camp please
have them contact Tammy Illguth at 907-322-5901. Thank you.
