Deer hunters are in the woods and there are not many places for us to coon hunt until deer season closes. We plan to go to Mississippi to squirrel hunt some before our deer season closes. As most folks know, the KSBA had its World Hunt in Sparta, TN in Setpember and we had a great time. We look forward to see- ing our old friends and meeting new ones. We had a great turnout this year with lots of new faces. Most of you know Ronnie and I donate a raffle pup each spring and fall with proceeds going to KSBA. This year we donated a male pup, and it always does me good to see the smile on peoples’ faces when they win one of our pups. This year our pup was won by a pretty little girl named Lindsey. She looked at the pup several times and told us she was going to win this pup and she already had a name picked out. We were worried by chance she would take not win the pup. As it turned out, there was noth- ing to worry about. When it came time for the drawing, Charles asked Lindsey to pick the winning ticket out of the box. With her eyes tightly closed, she drew a ticket and handed it to Charles. The look on this little girl’s face was priceless when she realized it was her name being called. This was the best part of the whole week- end for us. It wasn't but a few minutes and she had her a brand new collar and leash for her new pup. We would like to congratulate the winners from both days. We had a blast and look forward to seeing everyone again this spring. We would also like to thank John Rabon and Loyd Mcintire of Arkansas. They put together a fine KSBA hunt in Ash Flat, AR on October 15. Our daughter Machelle, her friend Ryan, Shannon Hayes of Winnfield, LA and I went to Ash Flat, AR for the hunt. John and Loyd did an outstanding job. We had a live Bluegrass band play with wonderful food and the grounds were great. From what I was told, there was plenty of game for our hunters. Thank you — we had a great time. Until next month, happy hunting to all. Lindsey with her raffle pup Laree Taylor with Black Belle was the Grand Bench Champion at Sparta, TN. Laree Taylor with Black Belle was Treeing Champion at Sparta, TN This was our Bluebrass band. They are excellent. Ryan and Baby Girl (owner Laree Taylor) receiving their Best Female 0-6 Months tro- phy. Shannon Hayes won Best Male 0-6 Months (owner Laree Taylor). Loyd McIntire presented Laree and Black Bell with their second place Tree Champion trophy. Just a few of the KSBA members listening to the band and having a good time.

Hello! We are well into our hunting season here. Deer hunters

are in the woods and there are not many places for us to coon

hunt until deer season closes. We plan to go to Mississippi to

squirrel hunt some before our deer season closes.

As most folks know, the KSBA had its World Hunt in Sparta, TN

in Setpember and we had a great time. We look forward to see-

ing our old friends and meeting new ones. We had a great

turnout this year with lots of new faces. Most of you know Ronnie

and I donate a raffle pup each spring and fall with proceeds

going to KSBA. This year we donated a male pup, and it always

does me good to see the smile on peoples’ faces when they win

one of our pups. This year our pup was won by a pretty little girl

named Lindsey. She looked at the pup several times and told us

she was going to win this pup and she already had a name picked

out.

We were worried

by chance she would

take not win the

pup. As it turned

out, there was noth-

ing to worry about.

When it came time

for the drawing,

Charles asked

Lindsey to pick the

winning ticket out of

the box. With her

eyes tightly closed,

she drew a ticket

and handed it to

Charles. The look on

this little girl’s face

was priceless when

she realized it was

her name being called. This was the best part of the whole week-

end for us. It wasn't but a few minutes and she had her a brand

new collar and leash for her new pup.

We would like to congratulate the winners from both days. We

had a blast and look forward to seeing

everyone again this spring.

We would also like to thank John Rabon

and Loyd Mcintire of Arkansas. They put

together a fine KSBA hunt in Ash Flat, AR on

October 15. Our daughter Machelle, her

friend Ryan, Shannon Hayes of Winnfield, LA

and I went to Ash Flat, AR for the hunt. John

and Loyd did an outstanding job. We had a

live Bluegrass band play with wonderful food

and the grounds were great. From what I was

told, there was plenty of game for our

hunters. Thank you — we had a great time.
