The North Florida Wrestling Academy is the premier K-12 wrestling program in North Florida. The philosophy of the NFWA is to teach winning techniques in a fun, safe and supportive environment. We implement a system designed to develop and improve wrestlers' ability and physical fitness level, while also teaching important life skills such as Personal Character, Sportsmanship, Leadership, Team Work, etc..

MISSION STATEMENT: NFWA is dedicated to fostering, promoting and encouraging the sport of amateur wrestling. It is our intention to build character, physical health and well-being, sportsmanship, self-confidence, self-esteem, and positive attitudes about dedication, persistence and hard work among the younger generation. The purpose of the NFWA is to: • Teach wrestling fundamentals and advanced techniques to athletes of all ages and

experience levels. • Provide a safe and structured atmosphere for learning the sport of wrestling. • Teach wrestlers the importance of discipline, ethics, hard work and integrity. • Encourage wrestlers to set, work towards and achieve their individual goals. • Educate parents and the community about the sport of wrestling.

MEMBERSHIP FEES: Initial Fee $100 (includes first month membership, two-piece NFWA singlet and t-shirt.) Monthly Fee: $40 AAU Membership Required Financial assistance is available on a case-by-case basis to those with a demonstrated need. You may register your wrestler at any time, however we are offering a ** 5% discount off the Initial Fee if you register by April 15, 2017 **. The sooner your wrestler starts training, the better prepared he/she will be for the competitive season.Private lessons are available at an additional cost.

SCHEDULE: Off-Season Practice is held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday @ 5:30 PM. In addition, registered wrestlers may train anytime a coach is present.
