Where is it located?
A: North Carolina is in the south eastern United states, and is located right under Virginia.
Boarders: Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina.

Industries and Crops
North Carolina farmers grow cotton, tobacco, and soybeans. Live stock farmers raise cattle, sheep, and pigs.
Some natural recourses and manufactured goods are: Clay, crushed stone, wooden furniture and machines.
History of the State
• In ancient times the eastern half of the state was under water and sharks roamed the waters.
• In the 1580’s, the British enabled two colonies in North Carolina, which both failed.
• In 1586, the colonies were forced to return to England due to hardships.
Places to go things to do
• Blue ridge parkway is in the Appalachian Mountains and has a great swinging bridge that is fun to walk on.
• Parmount’s Carowinds is a great place to spend the day if you like adventure and fun. This Theme park has whooping and twisting rides that are always a thrill
• Duck Beach is a popular public beach and a great place to spend the day if you like surf, sand, and sun!
