state and is competing in Recycle Re-

design. Weedon took 2nd place at

state and is competing in Environmen-

CONSTRUCTION — Construction is well underway for the $12 million renovation project at Normangee ISD. The project is expected to be

completed in December 2018.

The Normangee High School Cheerleaders have been busy this month as they prepare for the upcoming school

year. Stunt Camp was held June 13th-15th at Thunder Elite in Bryan. Cheer Camp was held June 22nd-25th at the

Gaylord in Grapevine. Cheerleaders for 2017-2018 are Captain Haley Holdridge, Co-Captain Kelsi Corgey, Co-Captain

Jordan Ruffeno, Alexis Manahan, Jenna Roddey, Madison Van Dresser, Samantha Bowers, Tymeisia Cross, Hannah

Morton, Leslie Scarmardo, Braydee Frederick, Maci Stanford, and “Pouncer” Jacey Knippa.

The Normangee Middle School Cheerleaders went to Cheer Camp June 22nd-25th at the Gaylord in Grapevine.

NMS Cheerleaders for 2017-2018 are Co-Captain Kourtney Wright, Co-Captain Madison Donahoe, Rylie McKin-

ney, Gracey Tesch, Riley de la Garza, Morgan Hemphill, Zoey Baer, Brylee Hemphill, and “Pouncer” Dusti Harris.

retary/Area IX Association Secretary Hayden Biddle at the

Texas FFA State Leadership Conference in San Antonio. He is
