MOBILITY – FMC Cost Optimised Routing
Normal Calling Used to force all FMC Client outbound calls through TVF. Provides for a Single Number service as well as cost saving for long distance calling. In this scenario 2-stage dialling is used.
Call-Back Call-Back routing reverses the direction of an outgoing call – can save costs based on tariff asymmetries when roaming abroad. FMC Server calls the FMC Client back and calls the destination.
Call-Reverse
Transforms an incoming call for a user (Blackberry) into an outgoing call. Interesting in countries where Fixed-Line-to-Mobile cost is significant.
Direct-Call
Enables the user to place a call "directly" through the mobile network. Such a call bypasses the FMC Server and the TVF.
SIM-Switch
Enables SIM Management when a user is travelling. Once activated enterprise calls will automatically be routed to the currently used SIM.
Automated MLCR
Automatic Routing uses the various LCR call types listed to select the appropriate call type based on cost and convenience, via administrator defined policies.
