How to Get Involved
• Joining the Y• Give to the Y• Volunteer at the Y• Advocate with the Y – prevent chronic disease; build trust and
understanding among community groups and decision makers• * Advocate in support of a movement working every day to build
healthier communities.

• Parents find a safe, positive environment for children to learn good values, social skills and behaviors.• Families come together to have
fun and spend quality time with one another.• Children and teens play and also
learn who they are and what they can achieve.
• Adults can connect with friends and pursue interests and learn to live healthier.• Communities thrive because
neighbors support each other and give back. • Being part of the cause.
Give to the Y
• Donate vital financial resources for nurturing the potential of kids, improving the nation’s health and well-being, and giving back and supporting our neighbors.
Volunteer at the Y
