Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to 2015 LOHS senior students; one to a female student, one to a male student. Criteria Must have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better through last day of third marking period of senior year Must be in good standing with LOHS attendance and graduation criteria Must have ten or more hours of community service with NOCC and/or Teens In Action Must complete a 500-700 word essay on a substance abuse prevention fact (about underage drinking, marijuana use or prescription drug misuse) you have learned in your association with NOCC and how that fact has influenced choices you have made in your life Must have two letters of recommendation from an adult, teacher or mentor (with contact info) Must have a resume which lists any awards, accomplishments, after school activity (athletics, clubs), school and community service activities and work history (if applicable) Must be enrolled in and attending a trade or technical school, community college, college or university by the fall following graduation A copy of high school transcript with cumulative grade point A copy of college acceptance letter and followed by an official fall class schedule Deadline: Completed application & support documents received Ms. Carol Doll in the Lake Orion High School counseling office by Friday, May 15, 2015, 4 pm

$1,000 College Scholarships

NOCC Leaders in Action Scholarship for graduating 2015 LOHS seniors.

Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to 2015 LOHS senior students;
