NOC MANAGEMENT INTERNATIONAL EXECUTIVE TRAINING COURSES IN SPORTS MANAGEMENT MEMOS XVII in English – Congratulations to the participants ! On 5 September 2014, 30 MEMOS XVII participants from as many countries, representing NOCs, national federations and other sports organisations, completed their studies towards the Executive Masters in Sports Organisation Management. After having successfully defended their projects in front of examining juries, they presented their projects again in a public presentation at The Olympic Museum in Lausanne. They then went on to receive their MEMOS diplomas from the IOC President, Thomas Bach. MEMOS XVII graduates Michelle Brown of the United States Olympic Committee was awarded the Alberto Madella prize for her project “ Decoding the Black Box : Decision Strategies for Resource Allocation in Elite Sport ”. The Alberto Madella prize, in honour of a late MEMOS lecturer and tutor, recognises the best MEMOS project of a MEMOS edition.
