has initiated activity of encouraging the scientist andacademicians to utilize their knowledge for productdevelopment and value generation through commercializationof their products. Just innovation is not sufficient forcommercialization of a particular technology into product. Thelaboratory level knowledge and know-how should be given ashape with the participation of multidisciplinary teaminvolving expertise from Core Domain, Design, Marketing,Economics, HR, etc. In the process of Product Developmentfollowing issues need to be considered: Value Proportion,Status of Innovation, Novelty of products, Legal issues likePatent and Copyright or Infringing of IPR, Expected CostEstimation, Expected Scale of Operation, Status of MarketResearch, Alternative Product Present, Regulatory Hurdles,Commercialization Strategy, Expected Timeline, Self DefinedKey Performance Indicators. This workshop will be addressedby experts in the field of product development to teach facultymembers and P.G students with their soft skills. The expectedoutcome is that the participants should get encouraged to finetune their research towards product development and value

addition. They should also understand the importance ofmulti-disciplinary working approach and IPR Protection.
