Enjoy a fun game of tennis as you try out the newly renovated tennis courts. We are talking about 129ft x 64ft wide of pure fun! Pick and choose your favorite time to play a game, even at night! The courts are located in front of the parking lot, just a short walk from the Sea Tower.

Did we mention a basketball court? If you’re interested, you can consult opening hours & reservations at the Front Desk or go to the Activity Center, located on the first floor of the Palm Tower.

ø According to most historians, French monks invented the game of tennis in the 11th or 12th century. They hit a ball with their hands over a rope strung across a courtyard or against the walls of the monasteries.ø Rectangular courts were created in 1875 for Wimbledon. Originally, the court was an hour-glass shape.ø The longest match was 11 hours and five minutes long. It took place over a period of three days.ø The only major tennis tournament still being played on grass is at Wimbledon. At the U.S. Open and the Australian Open they play on hard courts, and at the French Open they play on red clay courts.

Benvenuto to the Italian restaurant at the Holiday Inn, Da Vinci! Taste the delightful classic Italian dishes in an amazing atmosphere. This experience will make you feel like if a genuine Italian nonna (grandmother) is cooking for you! Our personal favorites are:

Starter: Start your meal with an unequivocally Italian dish: Bruschettas.The perfect combination of tomatoes, garlic and fresh basil over a crusty piece of bread and drizzled with a tangy balsamic reduction.

Even though the resort is filled with delicious restaurants and dishes, we can’t help but having our favorites. Drum roll... by popular demand you must try the:

Surf and Turf from the Sea Breeze menu, which showcases a mixture of grilled seafood and prime cuts, while you enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean.

Main Course: Don’t miss the authentic lasagna, which is surely a great find on their menu. Best paired with a delicious glass of chilled red wine.

Enjoy all of the delicious dishes at Da Vinci Restorante, with beautiful presentations surrounded by a cozy atmosphere and arched brick ceilings.

DININGThat delicious �avor is coming from the Italian kitchen…

Dessert: This was a hard one! But we had to go with the homemade Tiramisu with amaretto sauce and an espresso emulsion, a delicious way to end your Italian feast.

the official languages of Aruba,but most Arubans speak a minimum of four languages, including English and Spanish. Although Papiamento was in use as the native language for 300 years, it was only declared an official language, alongside Dutch, on March 19th 2003.

Papiamento is a lyrical idiom that evolved from Spanish and Portuguese, Dutch, some French, English, and a dash of African languages. To the ear Papiamento sounds very similar to Spanish, therefore it is not surprising that Spanish-speaking visitors have little to no problem communicating with the locals.
