PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
I am very happy on this pleasant occasion of
releasing the newsletter. I am glad to find a
considerable number of students are placed in
prominent companies and participants in co-curricular
and extra-curricular activities which certainly prove
that our students are adequately equipped and possess
necessary skill sets to bring such laurels to the
institution. As students are the members of a
progressive society, the teachers are the architects of
the educational system and consequently the true
education should deepen our insight, widen our
horizon and create a meaningful outlook.
- Dr.R.V.Mahendra Gowda
FROM HoD’S DESK I have great pleasure and pride to announce
that the Department of Mechanical Engineering, VSB
College of Engineering Technical Campus is

faculties. On this gracious occasion, I would like to
congratulate all members of the editorial board for their
sincere effort to realize this new venture. I earnestly
wish and sincerely hope that this new publication turns
out to be a resounding success.
- S.P.Ramesh

ABOUT COLLEGE
V.S.B. Educational Trust was
founded in the year 2000 by
Thiru.V.S.Balsamy, the Founder and
Correspondent of the V.S.B. Group
of Institutions. With an interest in
Promoting, Managing and
Administrating Educational
Institutions with high academic
standards, discipline and to take up
and help other allied activities in the
field of education. Under the Trust
V.S.B. Engineering College was
established in the year 2002, and
V.S.B College of Engineering
Technical Campus in the year 2012.
V.S.B. College of Engineering Technical Campus is situated in a quiet and favorable location, creating an ultimate
learning environment to stimulate academic and individual growth. Our College is located in Kinathukadavu NH-
209 about 22 Km from Coimbatore. Physically, it is dotted with majestic buildings, arterial roads, green carpeted
lawns and brimming trees. Each department is complete and unique in sense. The Laboratories equipped with
modern equipments beckon the future Engineers into its realm.
Vision:
We endeavor to impart futuristic technical education
of the highest quality to the student community and to
inculcate discipline in them to face the world with self
confidence and thus we prepare them for life as responsible
citizens to uphold human values and to be of service at large.
We strive to bring up the college as an Institution of
Academic excellence of international standard.
Mission:
We transform persons into personalities by
the state-of-the-art infrastructure, time
consciousness, quick response and the best
academic practices through assessment and
advice.
Quality Policy:
✓ Commitment to
continuous improvement in all
areas.
✓ Involvement of people at
all levels.
✓ Up gradation of
infrastructure and human
resources.
Green Cover:
The campus has a green cover with 1000 trees
and neatly maintained lawns. Concerted efforts were
made in planting the trees regularly. A group of
experienced laborers take care of watering and
preservation of trees, lawns and garden to maintain a
sustainable environment.
Steps to Walk Further:
While it has been years filled with activities
and satisfactory results for the Training and
Placement Cell, it goes without saying that much
more has to be aimed at. Raising the level of
information - support for the students, wider exposure
to the industry, enthusing more students to take
relevant training courses and inculcating the spirit of
entrepreneurship in the student community are the
areas that need further intensity.

EMERSON
Our college gives us an immense opportunity to groom ourselves
for the future; if we are ready to take the responsibilities then we can
see lots of freedom. If you examine any great personality, they don’t
have pressure on your mind, nobody would have forced them to invent
or do some work but they did by them self by giving the complete
freedom to their heart & brain. Faculties took the classes with
dedication and seriousness, we treat our guru’s with respect and
admiration, love our friends full heartily and have fun.
R RANGANATHAN (2014-2018)

Our College made us to understand the value of life, Remember the roots
and focus on wings: the roots are to establish who we are and where we
are from. The wings are to emerge the freedom to fly—to take what we
have learnt and soar to new heights and to reach beyond existing
boundaries. It is up to us to continue making our Department /College
greater than it was when we left it. Make us all proud with what we
choose to do with it.
