Project funding : $1.1m General Fund CMIS is the principal electronic offender

management system at NMCD. CMIS manages offenders from pre-sentencing through probation and parole.

Project Goals: Move from client-server to web-based

• Allow easier maintenance• Enhance security• Add functionality• Consolidate screens

Leverage other states’ work through NCOMS consortium.
