- June 2011 – April 2012 I successfully concluded the sourcing of professional consultants within the building industry to design a new production facility for the Mercedes-Benz C Class, which will be launched in March 2014. The budget was reduced to ZAR 28 mil, we managed to source the required services at 25% below the budget. The project lead-time was also reduced by 20% due to pending internal approvals; this caused us to react quickly, make speedy but precise decisions and negotiations, work longer hours and still ensure that our procurement guidelines and processes were adhered to. The appointment of the main building contractor was also a success in terms of having extensive experience, excellent quality & a good BBBEE rating. Construction value ZAR 166 mil.
- April 2011 – May 2012 I facilitated the scope of work and procurement in a greenfield project, to source professional consultants and building contractors for the 1st TruckStore facility in South Africa. Project value ZAR 12 Mil.

- May 2012 – September 2012, I successfully concluded one of our largest Logistics Services contracts with a value of ZAR 500 Mil (with good saving results).
- May 2012 – April 2013, I was second to lead the Procure To Pay procurement system implemented for the MBSA retail division. (SMH Dealerships).
- July 2013 – September 2013, I successfully negotiated 5 contracts for the SMH dealer network achieving savings / rebates for the group. Contract(s) value ZAR 40 Mil.
- March 2014 – July 2014, Supported Constantia Kloof dealership with upgrades to their new and pre-owned showroom area and back of house offices. Project value ZAR 6 Mil.

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT DISCUSSIONS
2014 - Nivarde has continued to be a valued member of the team, both in terms of purchasing performance & leadership behaviour. He has delivered good purchasing results and in addition, met his OBE & Blanket Order target for the year.
He interacts well with his colleagues both in the IPS environment as well as within the organization. Very Positive feedback has been received from his internal customers. He takes ownership & accountability for his responsibilities both inside & outside his scope of work, which is noted both by the internal customers as well as through setting an example for the team.
I would like to see more attention to detail in assigned tasks, as well as application of the Lead Yourself & Lead Others development course, in seeing the bigger picture in terms of overall team strategy.
