Please check all of the fixings you have received. If you think any of the components in the list above are missing, please contact Direct 4x4 for further advice.

Step 1: get the vehicle on some ramps (if possible)

Step 2: Front brackets

You will need to locate this fixing point in the chassis for the T bolt to fit in, allowing the bracket to be fitted correctly.

The photo above is the bracket fitted to the passenger side, however the fitment is the same for both the drivers and passengers side.

Steps 3: Rear Brackets

First, locate the two fitting holes in the chassis. Then use the U bolt supplied to fit into the two holes.Lastly put your bracket into place and tighten up the nuts. The photo above is the bracket fitted to the

Step 4: Middle Brackets

To fit this bracket you will need to remove a screw in the under tray revealing a hole for your supplied T bolt.

There are several rubber grommets across the sill which you will need to remove this allows the T bolt to fit in and be tightened up.

The photos below are the brackets fitted to the passenger side, however the fitment is the same for both the drivers and passengers side.

Step 5: Fitting the boards

Remove the nuts from the bolts under the running boards. Hold the boards against the brackets and slide the bolts inline with the brackets. Place the boards onto the brackets so that the bolts stick through the holes in the bracket.After you align the boards to the right position down the side of the car, then tighten up the nuts/washers etc.

Step 6: General care and maintenance

Cleaning:

You can use most cleaning products on the steps.We do advise that you avoid any corrosive cleaning solutions. These may include TFR or similar brake stripping/cleaning chemicals or petrol based solutions (showroom shine or similar). They will tarnish or corrode parts of the steps.When cleaning under the steps, be mindful of any sharp edges at the ends where the aluminium box section finishes.

Maintenance:

We advise you check he fixings under the car at several intervals after the initial fitting.1 Week – Check and tighten any bolts after 1 week of use6 Months – It is advantages to check the bolts after this period
