: 238 : Rep rodu ction 29 Reproduction Reproduction is the process by which a living organism is able to produce more of its own kind. The continuity of life on earth, from its origin to the present day, has been possible only because of reproduction. Living organisms reproduce in two ways—asexual and sexual reproduction. In this lesson we will learn about the modes of reproduction in plants and animals especially humans, population growth and its control and sexually tr ansmitted diseases. It is a common process of reproduction in lower plants and animals.
