2) INTERPRETATION REGIME The working language of the meeting will be English. No interpretation will be provided.

3) VISA REQUIREMENTS All participants (sponsored and non-sponsored) are responsible to enquire on the visas and/or transit visas required and obtain them for the full round trip. The details concerning the entry into Greece can be found at the following site of Ministry of Foreign Affairs: https://www.mfa.gr/en/visas/visas-for-foreigners-traveling-to-greece/. Residents of States who are obliged to have a visa may see the site of each Greek Diplomatic Authority and be specifically informed about the procedure of appointments and issuing of visas. 4) MEETING VENUE AND ACCOMODATION The SGE LSD9 meeting will take place and its participants accommodated at:

The meeting room and equipment will be kindly provided by Greece. A pre-booking of rooms has been kindly organized by Greece. The negotiated standard room price is 124 euro/night with breakfast, VAT and city tax included. All participants are kindly requested to confirm their reservation directly with the hotel. After reading policy details, press “SELECT AND GO TO THE NEXT STEP”, click on the dates of your stay, press “CONFIRM DATES OF STAY” and choose your room depending on your preference.

Deadline to confirm your booking and take advantage of the negotiated price: 15th of July 2019.

We would like to kindly remind all participants, including the members funded by the European Commission, to pay their accommodation upon check out. Reimbursement of the relevant costs, where foreseen by the relevant EC invitation, will take place after the end of the meeting according to EC procedures. The St. George Lycabettus Lifestyle Hotel is situated in the upmarket Kolonaki district, on the top of a residential area, at the foot of Lycabettus hill, at a 5 minutes’ walk from Kolonaki Square and 15 minutes’ walk from Syntagma Square. It offers a breathtaking view to Acropolis, Lycabettus Hill and Saronikos gulf. Free wi-fi, parking, a swimming pool, a spa and wellness center are included in its facilities.

5) AIRPORT TRANSFER No transfer will be organized in Athens. The distance between Athens International Airport and Hotel St George Lycabettus is approximately 30 km. There are many choices which permit comfortable access to the city centre: - Metro Line 3 to Evangelismos Metro Station (direct line): 10 €, approximately 40 minutes ride. From

Evangelismos Metro Station to the Hotel it is a 15 -20 minutes’ walk (or a 10 min taxi ride at a cost of 4-5 €).

- Bus X95 to Rigillis Bus stop (direct line): 6 €, approximately 1 hour (depending on the traffic) and 10 minutes’ walk (or taxi for a few €). From Rigillis bus stop to the Hotel it is a 15 -20 minutes’ walk (or a 5-10 min taxi ride at a cost of 4-5 €).

- Taxi (from the airport, all the way to the Hotel): approximately 40 € fare during daytime, and 35 minutes duration (depending on the traffic).

6) TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS - REIMBURSEMENT OF EXPENSES (funded participants) All participants, funded and not-funded, are expected to buy their flight ticket as well as to book and pay their hotel room. EC funded participants: SGE LSD Members (Albania - Austria - Bosnia and Herzegovina - Bulgaria - Croatia –

Cyprus - Georgia - Greece - Hungary - Israel - Kazakhstan - Kosovo - Moldova - Montenegro - North Macedonia - Romania - Russian Federation - Serbia - Slovenia - Turkey – Ukraine), and Finland (EU Presidency). The travel costs of up to two (2) representatives per country (flight ticket, economy class with most direct route, and transfer fare from and to the Athens Airport by Metro or Bus – please retain the relevant tickets in order to claim these expenses too) and daily allowances (where eligible) will be reimbursed by the European Commission according to standard procedures. Participants will receive an invitation letter from the EC stating what expenses the EC will consider and the reimbursement modalities. Self-funded Participants (observers): the meeting is open to representatives of all other European countries, on a self-sponsored basis (no reimbursement).

7) MEALS Lunches and coffee breaks will be kindly offered for all participants by the Ministry of Rural Development and Food on 16 and 17 October at the St George Lycabettus Hotel, as well as a courtesy dinner on 16 October. Please, inform in advance if you have some specific food preferences or in case if you are on specific diet.

8) SOCIAL EVENT A guided tour of the Acropolis Museum will be kindly offered by Greece on 16 October prior to dinner. The time of departure from the hotel will be 18:00. Guests will be transferred to the Acropolis Museum by bus. The duration of the visit of the Museum will be approximately 1:15 (from 18:30 to 19:45). The walking time from the Museum to the restaurant will be 5 minutes approximately. A tentative hour of departure from the restaurant is 23:00. Transportation back to the hotel will be ensured by bus.

9) CURRENCY The local currency in Greece is Euro.

ANNEX

Directions for transport to the Hotel St George Lycabettus from Airport

a) Travel by Public Transport

1. By Metro Line 3 - cost 10 € per journey

The terminal station of line 3 of Athens Metro (M3-blue line) is at the Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos”. The total duration of the journey is 40 minutes. First train departs from airport on 06:30 while the last train departs on 23:30. For your information, we provide you with the departure timetable of Metro line 3 from the airport:

You can buy your ticket at the ticket vending machines or ticket offices at the airport, before entering the metro. If you plan on staying just 3 days in Athens, there is a 3-days tourist ticket at the price of 22 € including 2 journeys from and to the airport as well as unlimited travel on all other modes for 3 days (72 hours after the first ‘touch in’). Information on tickets can be found here. After 14 stops, you disembark at Evangelismos Metro station. The walking distance between Evangelismos Metro Station and the hotel is around 1 kilometer – 15 minutes, following a somewhat uphill course (alternative: taxi from Evangelismos Metro Station to the Hotel at a cost of approximately 4-5 €).

Should you choose to walk, see below a proposed simple route (link to the map):

2. By Bus X95 - cost 6 € per journey The terminal station of Bus X95 is right outside the Athens International Station at Athens Airport Arrivals Terminal (between Exit 4 and 5). The journeys are scheduled every 15-20 minutes and the total duration is one hour depending on traffic. You can use Bus X95 all day and night long. Information regarding timetable schedule (which may change) can be found here. Tickets are available from the ticket kiosk at the bus departure area and from all the metro stations around Athens. After 18 stops, you may get off at Rigillis bus stop. The distance between the stop and the hotel is approximately 700 m. Once again you may get a taxi or walk for around 10 minutes. For your convenience, we provide you directions, in case you prefer to walk (link to the map):

b) By taxi – cost 40 € per journey

Transport by taxi is very easy, as there are always taxis available between the exits 2 and 3 of the airport. The cost is approximately 40 €, if you take a taxi during daytime (05:00-24:00), or approximately 55 € during nighttime (24:00-05:00), according to https://www.athensairporttaxi.com/index.php .

Directions for returning to the Airport from the hotel

a) By Metro Line 3: you have to take the metro with direction to Airport (not Doukissis Plakentias)

from the Evangelismos Metro Station. You disembark at the terminal station, after 14 stops. The duration of the transport is around 40 minutes.

b) By Bus X95: you have to take the Bus X95 at Rigillis/Vyzantino Mouseio Bus Stop and you disembark

at the terminal Station (Airport). The duration of the transport is around 1 hour, depending on traffic.

c) By Taxi: approximately 35 minutes (depending on the traffic)
