The ninth annual Andersonville Wine Walk is set for May 17. There, you can try 33 different wines from a glass made for the event at various retail shops along either the north or south route. The north route includes shops like The Andersonville Galleria, Athletico North and City Olive, among others. The south route includes 5140 Shop by Bret Taylor Design, Akira and Milk Handmade, among others. For a full list, visit the event's website. Destinations are subject to change. Check-in begins at 1 p.m. at the Swedish American Museum, 5211 N. Clark St. The actual walk begins at 3 p.m. All participants must be 21 or older.

ANDERSONVILLE -- Vino lovers, rejoice.

The ninth annual Andersonville Wine Walk is set for May 17. There, you can try 33 different winesfrom a glass made for the event at various retail shops along either the north or south route.

The north route includes shops like The Andersonville Galleria, Athletico North and City Olive,among others. The south route includes 5140 Shop by Bret Taylor Design, Akira and MilkHandmade, among others. For a full list, visit the event's website. Destinations are subject tochange.

Tickets cost $35 in advance and $40 the week of the event; they can be bought online. Proceeds willgo towards the Andersonville Chamber of Commerce, which supports the local businesses along thewalk. The walk is co-sponsored by In Fine Spirits.
