Ninja Facebook RecruitingWith Jaden Easton-Ellett

Who Am I And My Results

My name is Jaden Easton-Ellett and I am from British Columbia, Canada. !Started my journey doing freelance web design, moved into blogging, created a blog that went on to do $500,000 in 2012, then transitioned into Network Marketing.

Why YOU Should Be Excited

• This strategy alone has allowed Fraser McDonald to go from making zilcho to over $10,000/month in just over 3 months. Ben Martin, another rockstar, made over $1,000 in residual income in 20 days. I myself have had similar results and gone on to recruit dozens of people from Facebook, and so have so many others.

• Jessica Higdon has a course specifically on this called $10k Social Media and a ton of others leaders are starting to realize the potential of Facebook as a recruiting tool.

• The bottom line is this works EXTREMELY well, is EXTREMELY duplicatable and will bring you RESULTS if implemented with CONSISTENCY.

What Facebook Recruiting Doesn’t Look Like

• Facebook Groups: The kinds of people who hang around in groups aren’t the type of people you want to be associated with and just spamming links inside of groups is a horrible way to see results from Facebook.

• Tagging: This is a sure-fire way to piss other people off, get yourself in FB Jail and see poor results.

• Money: Posting nothing but pictures of “phat stacks” or talking about your business 24/7 will not get people interested in joining you in your business.

• Spamming: Randomly approaching people asking them if they want to buy your product is a sure-fire way to piss people off, wreck your reputation and see poor results.

What Will Be Covered• 1. Profile/Fanpage Setup: Without setting up your profile and fanpage

correctly you will run into low conversions and people won’t want to connect with you. Learn how to correctly setup your profile/fanpage.

• 2. Finding Perfect Leads: Millions of people use Facebook, but you’re not interested in just anyone, learn how to properly define your “perfect avatar” and find him/her on Facebook.

• 3. Connecting With Leads: Once you find you “perfect avatar” on Facebook you need to know how to engage him/her, how to carry on the conversation and eventually close them into your business.

• 4. The Big Picture: There is more to becoming a Facebook ninja than messaging people such as what you should be posting to your profile/fanpage and other tricks people don’t think of.

1. Profile Setup• It all starts with your profile picture and cover photo. NEVER utilize

company branding, this is the worst mistake you could possibly do because it kills ALL mystery and you want to be branding YOU.

• Profile Picture: This should be a picture of you clearly visible (not in crowd of people or in a situation where it’s hard to distinguish who you are. Ideally it is a headshot of sorts.

• Cover Photo: You want your cover photo to be unique and make the person curious. Ideally it should make you look like a leader (e.g. with others, showing a sense of community and that you’re a people person), it could also be a lifestyle photo or a personally branded photo with your blog. Again no company branding.

Fanpage Setup• To do this setup your fanpage if you haven’t already. I did

mine as a Consulting/Business Services page.

• When creating your fanpage take the time to fill in your about section. Your website should go first, follow by a sentence or two on how you can help them get what they want. Ensure you list your business email, website and phone number (optional).

• As for graphics your profile picture should be the same as your profile or another headshot style picture and your cover photo should be some sort of graphic with YOU, your website and your tagline (not your company).

Advanced Fanpage Setup• To further increase conversions what you can do is create custom tabs on your fanpage using

a service like Static HTML (https://www.facebook.com/StaticHtmlThunderpenny or statichtmlapp.com).

• The kinds of tabs you will likely want to utilize are:

• Add Me: Link to your personal/business profile.

• About me: Link to about me section on blog

• Squeeze Page: Direct them to some sort of opt-in page related to your business.

• You can utilize the code shown below to easily setup redirect tabs which will take the person to an external URL, just replace the link shown in red (https://dashboard.statichtmlapp.com/)..

<script type="text/javascript">

if (top != self) top.window.location = 'http://URL-OF-DESTINATION-TAB';

</script>

Linking Your Profile And Fanpage

• Next up comes your about section. What we want to do is ensure that your fanpage is tied to your profile because this is how you want others to flow through:

• 1. Visit your profile, think to themselves this looks like a leader who’s worth my time connecting.

• 2. Visit your fanpage.

• 3. Take a quick glance through your fanpage, read your about section and visit your website to learn more about you.

Testimonial / Proof Album• It is suggested that you create a photo album on your profile called

Testimonials / Proof where you upload screenshots of any nice comments you get on your Facebook posts, testimonials or screenshots of earnings to. This will help further increase the trust others have in you.

2. Finding Perfect Leads• Before we get into finding perfect leads on Facebook

we need to first define your “perfect avatar.” In order to do this I need you to do the following for whatever product or service you are trying to sell:• 1. Clearly identify what it is that you’re selling (your opportunity and

other products and services associated with it). Go beyond face value.

• 2. Decide who is most likely to BUY what you’re selling and get specific. Define sex, age range, experience level, goals etc.

• 3. Identify what kind of places your perfect avatar would be hanging out in, what kinds of books he/she reads, what kinds of activities he/she enjoys, other leaders he/she follows… again get very specific.

Example: Internet Lifestyle Network

• 1. At face value the Internet Lifestyle Network is a training platform that teaches others how to market themselves online with an optional affiliate program. Beyond face value the Internet Lifestyle Network can help someone spend more time with their family, get the house of their dreams, impact other people’s lives, leave a legacy etc.

• 2. Males and females will be interested. Ages 20 and above. Those struggling to see results, those who have never started a business online who want to live a lifestyle of abundance, success and freedom while helping others do the same or those in traditional MLMs.

• 3. Entrepreneurial people are the kinds of people we want to attract so they would read books like Think and Grow Rich, they would follow inspirational speakers and leaders, hangout at various business conventions etc.

How To Find Perfect Leads• Now that you have defined your perfect avatar we can

begin actually searching for him/her on Facebook to connect with them. Here are the 3 main ways you can go about finding perfect leads on Facebook:

• Groups: People apart of specific groups, either public or private.

• Fanpages: People who like certain fanpages.

• Followers: People who follow other people’s personal profiles… but we can’t view a list of followers, as such we will need to use Graph search.

The Power Of Graph Search• The two main methods I just showed you involving groups and fan pages work, but there is a

more effective way to find your perfecto leads on Facebook and this involves Graph Search.

• Most people should have Graph Search by now, if not apply here: https://www.facebook.com/about/graphsearch

• Graph Search is extremely powerful because it can be used to laster target leads. You can go location specific, sex specific, age specific… the list goes on and on. Graph Search also incorporate groups, fan pages and followers.

• People who follow <NAME> (e.g. Ryan Blair)

• My friends of friends of people who like <PAGE> (e.g. Think and Grow Rich)

• People in <GROUP> (e.g. Internet Marketing for Beginners)

• People who like <ACTIVITY> (e.g. Working out)

• People who work at <JOB> (e.g. Self-Employed)

• Using the sidebar you can then get even more specific and filter your results.

Endless Leads

3. Connecting With Leads• So now that you have access to hundreds of thousands,

if not millions of highly targeted leads… FOR FREE…. how do you go about getting in touch with them?

• You message them to simply start a conversation, to develop a relationship. You cannot come into this with the mindset of “Oh I need to sell to this person ASAP.” It will make the conversation awkward and your results will suffer.

• With that said let’s dive into some example initial connection messages you could send.

Example Messages

Example Messages

Initial Message Construction

• Don’t copy exactly what I send to people. If you utilize “scripts” they will get overdone by people and Facebook could track them down as spam eventually.

• Come up with your own personalized messages suited to how you speak with others. Utilize slang, jargon and don’t make your messages PERFECT grammar wise. Humans aren’t perfect, so a missing period, comma or odd capitalization will actually increase conversions.

• Always end with a question where the person needs to give a more detailed answer than “yes” or “no” and ask them to send you a friend request (asking a person for their story has been one of the best questions I have come up with).

• Lastly end with a smiley face. This has also been shown to increase conversions of people who message you back because it helps convey emotion.

**WARNING**

NEVER SEND FRIEND REQUESTS Ask the person to send you a friend request in your initial message and if they don’t, oh well, press forward. Sending friend requests is

the easiest way to get thrown in Facebook Jail.

Sending Velocity• To be safe send 10 messages per hour, you can send up

to 20 messages but work your way up to it and watch out for warnings.

• Don’t go too fast with the messaging, space it out roughly 1 message every 30 seconds.

• I recommend on a minimum connecting with 40 new entrepreneurs per day. That’s about 20 minutes of work spread over 2 hours. I do roughly 100 - 150 daily.

• What about the Other Folder? Don’t worry about it, people who know what they’re doing check their other folder.

Carrying On The Conversation

• Don’t over complicate things. I can’t teach you how to have a conversation with someone.

• Your only goal should be to develop a relationship with the person, seeing what they are doing and if they’re experiencing any problems. If they are try to help them out and provide as much value as possible. Show the person you are a leader.

• NEVER pitch your opportunity unless they strictly ask you what you do or want more information.

• Keep the spotlight on the person you’re talking to, not yourself.

• Understand that not everyone will buy from you and that’s ok, maybe they will share/like your statuses, maybe you will partner with them in the future etc. (or do a webinar hehe)

Reverse Engineering• With that said I do understand, however, there needs to be

some sort of flow to how you can get a ROI on your time spent into this so this is how you want to be transitioning conversations:

• 1. Get to know the person, their goals, how they’re marketing, what their results have been like etc.

• 2. Try to find out some challenges they are experiencing and/or what it is they want in life.

• 3. Reverse Engineer their pain/desire and if it aligns with your business opportunity explain how your product/service can solve his/her pain or bring about his/her desired outcome.

See Supplement Guide

• You will be able to download an additional guide to go along with this video which will include conversation starters, example questions and much more.

4. The Big Picture• You will not always end up closing people in your business

opportunity from the initial conversation and this is totally fine.

• You need to view your Facebook friends as your email list. With each new friend being a new subscriber and each status/video/photo you post to your timeline an email.

• A lot of people who don’t go on to join you from your initial message will watch you for days, weeks or even months and as long as you are posting the right kind of content will eventually just ask to join you in whatever it is that you’re doing. This is how you get people to ask for YOUR join link.

What To Post On Your Timeline?

• You want to be posting 80% value on your profile. This could include quotes, videos (ideally ones done by you), blog posts (ideally ones done by you), lifestyle images, tips, tricks etc. Remember the marketer with the most value almost always wins. Go above and beyond everyone else.

• The ONLY THING your prospect is interested in is how you can help them become successful. That’s why you always want to post about your team members success as well. Another effective thing to do is take notes as you read and go through training videos. Then turn each of those notes into valuable Facebook status/videos.

• The last 20% should be related to your company or opportunity such as meetings, webinars, photos of you and your team, personal income results etc.

• People who do this well: Jaden Easton-Ellett, Fraser McDonald, Benjamin Jacques, Matt Williams and other leaders in the industry.

What About My Fanpage?

• Fanpages have very low reach because Facebook wants you to pay for advertising.

• Generally on fan pages I will just have my blog/videos syndicated and then carry over the odd post from my profile.

• Your profile is the key component to your success using Facebook, your fanpage is just a bridge to your web presence and social proof if anything.

How Often Should I Post?

• This is completely up to you.

• Remember quality over quantity.

• I would recommend doing at least 2 - 3 posts per day (I know people who do almost 1 per hour) spread out over the day.

• You can use scheduling software like HootSuite to automate this.

Your Keys To Success• Consistency: In order to see success with this strategy it is going to require you to

be consistent. You can’t try it for a week or two and because you haven’t made 6-figures it doesn’t work. This strategy takes AT LEAST 1 week for the compound effect to take place depending on how many people you are messaging daily.

• Set Clear Intentions: Come up with a clear intention on how many people you wish to connect with each day, how many people you will re-connect with each day and how many people you want to recruit each day then DO IT.

• Have Relevant Value: If all you have to offer is “abc product mlm” you’ll need to meet a LOT MORE people than usual to make real connections and make sales. Arm yourself with generic solutions that will serve your prospect's goals. Leverage your own blog, videos or your teams training to provide value you to your prospects.

• Manage Your Time: Allocate a specific amount of time each day (even on the weekends) to do all of this daily. Don't multi-task while doing this method. Focus 100% on networking with people, prospecting building relationships. Just keep going until you hit your goal for the day.

Practice Makes Perfect

• Lastly just practice. Your results initially will vary depending on how much experience you have in sales, your people skills etc. But I promise if you stay consistent and learn from your mistakes you WILL see results.

• One book I recommend to read is Skill With People - By Les Giblin this will make taking charge of conversations much easier.

Your Blueprint To Success• We covered a lot so in review here is your blueprint to success leveraging

Facebook:

• 1. Ensure your profile and fanpage is setup correctly.

• 2. Define your perfect avatar and send 10 - 20 messages per hour to other people looking to connect (recommended 40+ per day).

• 3. Focus on developing relationships with those people and reverse engineer their problems/desires to match your product/service if it makes sense.

• 4. Share at least 2 - 3 valuable Facebook posts with your “list” to encourage people to ask YOU for your join link. Remember team success and something people can take away from make the most valuable posts.

• 5. Rinse and repeat daily.
