Isis, the official journal of the History of Science Society, is published quarterly in March, June, September, and December, with a separate Critical Bibliography issued annually in August, by the University of California Press for the History of Science Society. Annual membership in the History of Science Society, which includes a subscription to Isis, costs $12.00; students, $6.00. (To com- pensate for international postage differentials, add $.25 for Canadian membership, $.50 for all other countries.) The price of a current single issue is $3.00, a single Critical Bibliography, $6.00; back issues a year or more old are $4.00 each; plus postage ($.10 per copy or $.25 per volume; foreign postage $.25 per copy or $.50 per volume). Claims for replacement of missing numbers must be received within 3 months (6 months in the case of foreign subscriptions) following publication of the number.
