The Joys Of Aerial Photography. Keith S. Black http://ReviewDslrCameras.com/Nikon-Reviews/ Aerial photography is one of the coolest and most exciting forms of photography. Aerial photography consists of viewing photos from very high and unique points. Aerial is known as the process of taking photographs from above and usually the camera is attached to a form of airborne object. That airborne object could be a skydiver, hot air balloon or even a kite or bird. Nadar, the french airman is credited for developing aerial photography back in 1858. During World War 2, aerial was used heavily by the military. The use of it helped the military spying on the enemy and assess possible battle grounds and targets. It also helped the military with giving up to the minute feedback of what was taking place in a particular war zone. Aerial photography has many more uses from land use planning, movie productions, environmental issues, advertising as well as archeology. Using technology such as radio technology has allowed businesses to use small aircraft that are remote controlled to take aerial shots of real estate development projects. These remote controlled models are used because they are able to fly very low over a certain area unlike any aircraft that is manned. The cool thing about aerial photographs is they are considered public domain. This is because anytime photos are taken from aerial points of view, they are considered public spaces and public spaces are for the public to enjoy. If you go to your favorite search engine and do a search for aerial photography, you'll find many images that are available for your viewing. Have you even looked at Google Earth? That's the use of aerial photography. You can use Google Earth to look at parks, neighborhoods as well as other places of interests. Aerial photography can also be used to locate destinations as well as landmarks. Aerial photography have as many uses as the mind can think of. The joys of aerial photography will touch even those that have the slightest desire to enjoy photography. If you are a photographer and are just starting out I would suggest you not get into taking aerial photographs until you become very skilled with taking land based photos. Once you become very skilled than you can venture into taking aerial shots. I would also suggest you learn under the guide of a highly experienced aerial photographer that has a history of teaching others not only the art form but also the safety aspects of aerial photography. http://ReviewDslrCameras.com/Nikon-Reviews/
