It is with great pleasure that I join you in celebration of Nikola Tesla, hosted by the Nikola Tesla Historical Society of Alberta.

As Prime Minister of Canada, I place a great deal of importance on scientific innovation. The Nikola Tesla Historical Society of Alberta shares my vision on this, and on the importance of inspiring Canada’s next generation of scientists.

Today, we gather here to celebrate the remarkable life of Nikola Tesla, and all of his incredible scientific contributions. His inventions helped make the world a better place.

Thank you to the organizers and volunteers for making this event possible and to all who are in attendance to celebrate Nikola Tesla’s 163rd birthday.
