• Nightmare on Elm Street is a horror and its one of the most iconic horror film series ever.

Representation

• This film shows a group of teenagers who accused Freddy Kruger of sexually harassing them as children and he was hinted down and murdered by the children's families and Kruger is out to get revenge on the families by killing their children in the one place their parents cant save them... Their Dreams.

Audience

• Nightmare on Elm Street has been given a 18 certificate and I’ll agree with that but also people over the age of 16 should be ok watching it.

Narrative

• This film shows a group of kids that thought they only got to know each other in high school until they die one by one in their sleep they discover that the soul of a dead man they accused of being a paedophile is hunting them down in their sleep.

Remake
