How it works – simplified:

Get in touch with the performer, pencil in a date.

Apply to Night Out either online or fill out the simple 3-pagebooking form, applying at least four weeks before the event butpreferably much earlier.

If successful, Night Out will pay the performer fee and you get theperformer at a reduced rate whichcan be guaranteed by your localauthority, so taking away thefinancial risk.

You put on the event, apply for local licences, put up posters andpromote it to your local community, have a great time and then reportback after the event – paying backthe ticket income made (up to amaximum of the performer fee).

The scheme has had a real impact on our small, rural, village community. The very specialcombination of affordable, quality, professionalentertainment in a very local environment, hashelped to generate a stronger feeling of communityand friendship, providing, for some, the onlyopportunity to experience a live theatrical production.Hilary Denison, Promoter, Flintshire

The Night Out scheme has

allowed us to bring some of the

highest quality theatre events

to Blaengarw. It is a really

easy process … the staff are

very helpful and really share

our vision for making these

kinds of events accessible for

local people. Without Night

Out, sadly some just wouldn't

be viable and the community

would really miss out on

consistently wonderful

experiences.
