PROTOCOLS FOR THE
ENFORCEMENT OF
REGULATIONS FOR
BREEDER FARMS,
HATCHERY
OPERATIONS AND DAY
OLD CHICKS QUALITY
IN NIGERIA.
In line with the mandate of
Nigerian Institute of Animal Science,
the Department of Inspectorate and
Compliance organized a one-day
socialization workshop for
stakeholders on protocols for the
enforcement of the Regulation for
Breeder Farms, Hatchery Operations
and Day-Old Chicks Quality in Nigeria
on Tuesday, 26th October, 2021 at
Plant Quarantine Hall, NCRI
Compound, Moor Plantation, Ibadan,
Oyo State.
The resource persons were Mr
Njoagwuani Harry Ifeanyi and
Olufemi A. Atunbi, Heads Regulatory
Affairs and Inspectorate and
Compliance Department,
respectively. They both emphasized
on the need for all the stakeholders
to come on board in order to
eliminate quack operators from the
value chain and ensure delivery of
quality chicks to our poultry farms in
Nigeria.
In attendance were: Pastor

was also the Chairman of the
