The Silcovert GN is a NPC Voltage Source Inverter (VSI) with IGCT (Integrated GateCommutated Thyristor) and field oriented technology for speed and torque control of large

induction and synchronous motors.

Stand alone configurations for power ranges up to 24 MVA and – whenever high overloadand dynamic response capabilities are essential.

With either Diode Front End (DFE: 12 or 24 pulse) or Active Front End (AFE) configurations,this drive provides ultra high efficiency, very high power factor (close to 1), minimum torque

ripple and low input and output harmonic content.

A fully digital control platform provides an user-friendly interface for flexibilityand accuracy in all applications.
