Nichols graduates are highly regarded

by corporate recruiters and hiring managers.

One of the reasons our graduates are in such

high demand is our unique four-year Profes-

sional Development seminar (PDS) program.

These seminars are designed to guide you

through your academic career, help you build

a portfolio of your work, and teach you the core

skills to help you transition into the professional

world. This program is designed to give you

a distinct advantage over other college gradu-

ates throughout your career. Here’s what is

included in the PDS program:

YEAr 1: Learn time management, sound study skills,

effective goal setting, and relationship building.

YEAr 2: Explore possible career paths, review your

internship choices, and learn interview

techniques.

YEAr 3: Focus on portfolio building, attend career

fairs, refine presentation skills, and consider

postgraduate options. Sections on resume

building and mock interviews will help you

get a valuable internship.

YEAr 4: Learn how to market yourself in the

corporate world, impress recruiters, and

secure professional employment.

Our unique professional

development program

will give you distinct

advantages throughout

your career.

94% of our graduates

– on average over

the past five years –

were employed in work

related to their majors

within six months of

graduation.
