Blood Testing Services are getting a new home. From 23rd March 2012 you will no longer be able to get your blood test taken at University Hospital of North Staffordshire’s Central Pathology Lab as it is closing to GP walk in patients. Services are being moved out into the community to make it easier for you to have your blood test taken at a range of locations, all with free parking.

Opening times for all three locations are Mondays to Fridays 8am until 5pm

From 26th March 2012 you can go to:Why Change Location(s)?The NHS in North Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent is undergoing radical change. University Hospital of North Staffordshire is being transformed into a single site hospital at the City General.

As part of this change some services that can be provided in the community are being moved, the blood test service is just one of them.

The service will still be provided by the very same skilled clinicians who would have taken your blood sample at University Hospital of North Staffordshire.
