Let me start by saying, I never would’ve believed I would be writing this. Even tho’ we knew this day might come, it still seems unreal....Damn Cancer!!
Th at being said, I would like to thank everyone for their kindness and generosity shown my family and me during Barb’s illness and now passing. Th e cards, letters, calls, donations and gift s have been overwhelming to say the least! It is humbling to think she touched so many lives, yet not surprising, that was my Barb, or “Barwb” as I liked to call her. Th e meals and visits from friends, family and employees will never be forgotten and always cherished!
Special thanks to Pastors Deb and Dawn for their visits and great service and to all the Hos-pice nurses for the caring and compassion you showed! Huge Th ank You to Lisa and Christy for the Monday trips that she so looked forward to!
And now, a heartfelt Th ank You to my daughter-in-law, Kari Jo, who stayed with us the last couple of weeks, and to her family for giving her up to us. Kari changed Barb’s pain pump and administered the other meds she received at midnight and 6 a.m., and checked on us during the night, as we slept in our single beds in the living room! Could not have gotten thru’ the fi nal days without her!
Finally, to the rest of my family and Barwb’s, Th ank You for the love and support you’ve shown me, from keeping the business “Big Beve’s” running, to the many visits and help you provided...Yes, even you Annie! It will never be forgotten! In closing, I would like to say, I don’t think there was ever a person Barwb didn’t fi nd some good in....even me!! You will always be loved and never forgotten!
