Secure or Not Secure

– No Security– Authentication: members have unique username and

password, no sensitive data allowed on website– Encryption: very secure, hard to open, cost est. $800

($400 per server – we are on two servers right now, 1 is a backup) – ie needed to implement online payment system

– Authentication with Encryption: Can used combined approach

Decision Authentication

1. Members only2. Username and password3. Institution paid to date?4. Member is a member?

-one idea paper contact form?-do we lock anyone out? No-how do we unlock them? n/a

5. Forgotten username and password 6. Database is a priority storing password and

username sends email-include dues in database

* Possibly add encryption at a later date.
