• Northern Gila County Economic Development Corporation (NGCEDC) was established to:– Encourage and Cultivate: Quality Economic Development, Quality

Employment Opportunities, Community Improvements throughout the area of Northern Gila County;

– Help facilitate: Attraction of new businesses, Retention and expansion of existing businesses; and

– Foster an environment supportive of businesses throughout Northern Gila County

• With these objectives in mind a survey was commissioned– The purpose was to gain the business community's perspective on

various topics that are critical to the success of the NGCEDC mission.

• Survey Population– All public and private businesses in Northern Gila County

• Survey Sample– Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce member email list = 353– Tonto Basin Chamber of Commerce member email list = 38 – Additional non-members = 5– Additional non-members = 5– Total Responses = 93 (23%)

• Some Respondents indicated multiple business classifications and locationslocations – These were treated as if they were separate responses and their
