Research & Development is a continuous process in upbringing nation‟s development in terms of educational & industrial development

through various folds of science, technology and management. Keeping this in view, Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Research & Development has been devised by National Foundation for Entrepreneurship Development

(NFED) in association with Sri Venkateswara College of Computer Applications & Management (SVCCAM). The FDP focused on Insights & Recourse for Continuous Learning. Prof. Gayathri Harish, Chapter Head, - NFED

Coimbatore handled a session on „Research Genesis & Perspectives‟ covering the basics of research concepts, design, methods & prospects indispensable for research.

Prof. P. Balasubramanian, Head, Department of Management Studies, Sri Venkateswara

Institute of Information & Management (SVITTM) has handled a technical session on „Application Research & Techniques‟ addressing the various sampling procedure and statistical techniques to be administered in the

research process in accordance with various research methods.

In continuation to this FDP, Prof. Dr. R. Ganesan two sessions focusing on

„Research Writing & Structuring‟ and „Publication Process & Journal Perspectives‟, which envisaged into structuring of thesis, paper, journal article / paper writing, manuscripts, books, editorial volumes etc. In

addition to that impact factor and refereed indexed journal publication strategies have been addressed to the faculties so as to emancipate their journal focus and publication strength.

The Founder Chairman of NFED

Prof. Dr. R. Ganesan was invited as Guest of

Honour by Rajeesh Trust in its 1st Anniversary

Programme at Chengalpattu on 23.03.2014.

Prof. Dr. R. Ganesan, Founder Chairman &

President of National Foundation for

Entrepreneurship was honoured by Emeritus

Professor Dr. A. Kalanidhi, Former

Vice-Chancellor of Anna University, Chennai.

Prof. Dr. R. Ganesan delivered a Special Address

and explicated the necessities of running Trust &

its objectives. He emphasized the reasons of

NGO‟s shouldering the additional responsibilities

of our Government by helping the downtrodden,

poor & needy through multifarious programmes

and helping them to uplift from their

underprivileged and deprived positions in the

society.

Prof. Dr. R. Ganesan & Prof. Dr. A. Kalanidhi

and other dignitaries on the dias were

distributing the valuable utilities for the socially

oppressed & browbeaten people on behalf of the

Trust. There were several noble programmes and

cultural were organized by the Trust.

Ms. S. Geethakumari, Managing Trustee

expressed the vote of thanks on behalf of the

Trust.


NFED -VIT STUDENT CHAPTER INAUGURATION

The National Foundation for Entrepreneurship Development inaugurated the NFED – VIT

Student Chapter at VIT Business School (VITBS), Vellore, Tamil Nadu on 25.03.2014, wherein 150 persons participated in the programme. Prof. Dr. S. Gomathi, Senior Professor, VITBS

welcomed the gathering. Prof. Dr. M. J. Xavier, Executive Director, VIT University & Prof. Dr. S. K. Datta, Dean, VITBS felicitated the inaugural function.

Prof. Gayathri Harish, Chapter Head & Dean (Media & Publicity), NFED Coimbatore delivered a special talk on the activities of NFED.

Prof. Dr. Murali Manohar, Senior Professor, VITBS gave an introductory talk on Chairman, NFED.

Prof. Dr. Ganesan Ramaswamy, Chairman & Presidium Chair, NFED delivered the Presidential & Keynote address on VIT-NFED Student Chapter.

Ms. Selva Ranjani, Head, VIT-NFED Student Chapter gave introduction on VIT-NFED Student Chapter and its significance at VIT B School. VIT-NFED Chapter Office bearers took a special

oath on maintaining the integrity and etiquette of the Student Chapter and to enforce the activities as per the mandate devised by the Chapter. Ms. Preethi Balamohan, Deputy Head,

VIT- NFED Student Chapter expressed the Vote of Thanks.

NFED is instituted primarily to envisage the
