NextDent ® 5100 Initial Print Guide This document will walk you through a simple build to verify printer operation. It is NOT meant to test the print- er’s accuracy. 5. Send .PXL File to Printer

Click Add to Queue to send the .pxl file to the printer.

1. Register Your Printer

Follow the instructions on the included Printer Registration Guide to create an online account and register your printer.

It is vital that you register your printer to activate your Service warranty.

8. Fill Resin Tray7. Mix Resin Bottle

Do not fill the tray past the MAX fill line.

Pour material into tray until the mate-rial reaches at least the “1” fill line on the back of the tray.

If you have not done so, place bottle(s) on LC-3DMixer for time specified on material’s package or shake bottle vigorously up and down for five minutes. Remember to stir material in resin tray before each build (see User Guide). Always wear nitrile gloves when

handling materials and/or printer components.

9. Install Print Platform

Line up triangular grooves on print platform (a) with conical pins on elevator arms (b). Lower the platform onto the arms until the arm’s magnets grab the platform.

10. Confirm Build

1. Close printer lid and front door.

2. On the touch screen, tap each checklist item as you complete it.

3. Tap Start Job.

4. When your build has completed, please read the NextDent 5100 User Guide for full post-processing instructions to finish your part.

6. Begin Print Process

1. On the printer, tap the Start Job button on the touch screen.

2. Hold your material bottle’s QR code under the scanner’s targeting light.

Do not look into the scanner.
