Building Fund Offering Today

As a result of the implementation of the new Deacon Board we also formed an Executive Committee which is comprised of the President of the Council (Pastor Joel) Head Elder (Jim Verduin) Elder Clerk (Dan Eenigenburg) and Head Deacon (Tim Salamon) When Deacons and Elders meet together the group will be called Leadership Team Meeting separately they will be referred to as Elders and Deacons Leadership Team will meet quar-terly Elders will meet twice per month (1st and 3rd Tuesday) and Deacons will meet once per month (2nd Tuesday) Executive Committee will make de-cisions on behalf of Leadership Team when Leadership Team is not in session Deacons will manage benevolence finances and assist our Service Coordinator on pro-jects

Summer Kids Program Update

Opportunities to Serve Save the Date to learn more about the Mommyrsquos Haven ministry on Thursday April 5 at the Lighthouse Restaurant Doors open at 600 pm dinner served at 630 pm Mommys Haven is a maternity home offering housing to pregnant women in need in Northwest Indiana that is set to open mid-2018 upon construction completion This dinner will be an in-depth overview of what Mommys Haven is and how theyll operate what the organization has accomplished over the last few years and where theyre going moving forward A fundraising opportunity will be offered during dinner
