March DCM Report
Greetings to all. This past month I attended the Area Committee Meeting in Sacramento. I was also honored to have been invited to attend Sis-kypaa’s first event of 2016. At the ACM, held February 20th, I listened to DCM reports from Area 07. Twenty-eight Dis-tricts are represented in our Area. Our Area cur-rently has openings for the positions of Verbal Translation Chairperson, Written Translation Chairperson and a Spanish speaking position on the eServices committee. Anyone interested in providing these services to our Area can contact Tom, Area Chair at [email protected]. Siskypaa’s event on February 20,th was the first YPAA activity I have attended. The energy and vitality of the meeting was contagious. I look for-ward to a Siskypaa liaison who will keep us in-formed and updated. Registration for the Pre Conference Assembly closes on March 31; the meal order is due by March 8. I invite all GSRs to attend this Assem-bly to be held in Madera on April 9th & 10th. Thank you Lee for taking the time to explain the importance of the Pre Conference Assembly and the Conference agenda items to us all.
In fellowship, Cindy Ward DCM District 09
Unity now accepting stories of your experience strength and hope. Send letters to Unity editor at [email protected] or mail to Unity Editor PO Box 991 Yreka CA 96097
"Isn't wearing womens clothing taking anonymity a bit far, Bert?" James, New Zealand
3rd Step- Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.
3rd Tradition- The only requirement for A.A. membership is a desire to stop drinking.
Concept III - To insure effective leadership, we should endow each element of A.A.—the Conference,
the General Service Board and its service corporations, staffs, committees, and executives—with a tradi-
tional “Right of Decision.”
