Dear Parents

Firstly, can I say huge congratulations to the

Year 4 and the Year 6 girls’ football teams who

represented Parkfield so well last week in their

after-school tournaments. Not only was their

behaviour and sportsmanship exemplary, but

we also had one team from each group who

As part of their dinosaur’s topic, this week Year

They really enjoyed their visit and learnt lots

about different dinosaurs and all the other

animals that are there. To help support your

children with their topic work this term, please

remember to encourage them to complete the

homework suggestions on the topic tutoring

sheets that were given out at the start of the

year to Years 2-6.

Everybody is still looking very smart in their new

uniforms this year. Please can I however remind

Parents that pupils in Years 5 and 6 should be

wearing a shirt or blouse with their ties. White

polo shirts are no longer permitted in these year

groups. Please see the uniform policy on the

school website for additional guidance.
