    F201 TU is proud to have fourministry teams representingthe university on campusand in our local churches. UnionAvenue, our most seasoned worshipteam traveled to numerous camps,eam traveled to numerous camps,churches and conferences over thesummer receiving rave reviews.They even performed at one of the

    regions largest events, Riverbend,where thousands gathered for aweek long music festival. The Campus Worship Bandand Mission Eternal, which has alatin flair, are are both going strongand already ministering in churchesthroughout the region.     JOHN REIeik has gone from the Sudan to the United States, from Cincinnati signee toMississippi State, and from NBA draft prospect to bench player in Starkvil leand has now arrived at Tennessee Temple University. As a matter of fact,TTU seems to be the home of what may be the tallest team in our division withseveral guys averaging heights over six feet five inches.

Hecame to theUnited Statesin 2006 andspent timeat prep schoolsin New York,Massachusettsassachusettsand Florida.He drew the a ttention of NBA scouts witha 7-foot-8 wingspan and even declared forthe 2008 draft before withdrawing anddeciding to go to college.     ew Student Welcome Week was filled with activities and events thatengaged students with each other and downtow n Chattanooga. Studentswere treated to a private dining experience at Tazikis Mediterranean Cafand a cruise down the TennesseeRiver on the Southern Belle Riverboat.Weekly chapel services began onTuesday night with enthusiasm asuesday night with enthusiasm asstudents experienced Temples ownAbove and Beyond Dunk Team andour campus worship band. Classesare now well underway and studentswill soon headhome for theirfirst official breakirst official breakof the year.     he Office of Student Development knows thiswell and has made this their top priority. Asand pit volley ball court was installed in Septemberand plans for October include re-opening the Student Centerabove the Dining Hall. The Student Center will feature gaming areas, television viewing acoffee kiosk! Plans for October also include a launch of the Campus Apparel store in parte-Campus where students will be able to purchase hoodies, short and long sleeve t-shirts,-Campus where students will be able to purchase hoodies, short and long sleeve t-shirts,sweatshirts, sweatpants and much more!Be sure to check out all of the changeswhen you are back on campus and staytuned for more to come!
