Basketball Program idea for kids Aussie Hoops is a national program strongly supported and widely adopted by basketball New South Wales. It uses a “game sense” approach where children learn basketball through playing games and activities, also involving the parents to encourage family sup-port. The program is for all primary school boys and girls of all abilities. The emphasis is on fun as well as development. Term 4 Aussie Hoops Program in Wagga starts on Monday October 12th at 4:30pm. The eight week term is at Bolton Park Stadium off Morgan Street. To register go to the following website:

Riverina Debating Team
Congratulations to Jaime Esler for making the Riverina Debating team! This is a tremendous effort to be included in this team as it is highly competitive. Jaime travelled to Henty Public School on Tuesday 6th October and came up against some very polished and experienced debaters. She will now prepare with the team to compete in Sydney later this term. Good luck Jaime!! Tamara Edmunds Debating Coordinator

Kooringal Public School new canteen manager Natasha Wilford would like to meet new mums, dads and grandparents, who would be able to help work in the canteen on a Thursday or Friday. As we know most people work so even if you could spare 2 hours, every little bit helps get exciting food out for the children at recess and lunch, and meet different people in the school community. If you are able to lend a hand once a week/fortnight/month Natasha would love to hear from you. If you could help fill out the form with your details and when you are available and return to the office, or ring the school and ask to speak Natasha in the canteen. ...................................................................................
